This fall semester we started with a group of around twenty-five students to design a new office (façade) for Kees Baardolf. One design from a student got elected to be build and we all started working on this particular design. During the time you are studying there are few possibilities to actually build anything. The designing process ends most of the time with the final design drawings. This time it’s different and we are going to build the office (façade). This, off course, is new for us and by that a big opportunity to learn a lot. There are several professors of the Technical University of Delft who are giving us guidance during the designing process, but in the end it remains our design. We are ordering the materials and building the office ourselves. It’s going to be a real challenge since we don’t have any experience in building.
